| Production in the region began in 2010. Ten years later, the plant has confidently maintained its position as the flagship of the Kazakh automotive industry. It is the only enterprise in the country manufacturing all types of vehicles. In 2014, for the first time in Kazakhstan, the production of cars using the completely knocked-down (CKD) method was mastered here, which means a full cycle, including welding, painting, and body assembly. |

| JAC is the Kostanay plant's main brand, and its production is only increasing. The S3 and S5 models, already widely available in Kazakhstan, have recently been joined by the new J7 sedan – a joint project between Volkswagen Group and JAC Motors. Another brand produced at the plant is also competing for customers' attention. Chevrolet production was announced at the plant only in March 2020, and in less than a year, more than 6,6 vehicles have rolled off the assembly line. |
