Domestic automakers continue to increase production. According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), for nine months of 2019, Kazakhstan produced 33 500 vehicles of all types on 47,5% more than in January-September 2018, when it was released 22 709 units of equipment. The total result of nine months in monetary terms exceeds the same result of last year by 62,5% (228 million tenge против 140 million tenge).

The main volume continues to be provided by passenger cars - 29 846 units (+41,2%), however, their share over the year decreased from 93% to 89,1%. Production volumes of commercial vehicles have increased significantly: cargo vehicles have increased two and a half times - 2 133 units (+166%), bus production increased three and a half times 848 units (+267%). It was also released 613 trailers and semi-trailers (+58%) and 60 units of other specialized equipment.

At LLP "SaryarkaAvtoProm" accounts for 50% of all vehicles produced. This year, the Kostanay plant has doubled production to 16 442 units of cars, trucks and buses.

According to preliminary data on "Asia Auto" production growth was less than 10% before 14 358 units passenger cars. In Semey SemAZ produced 831 unit of commercial equipment (+303%), Kokshetau "KAMAZ Engineering" produced 668 trucks (+52%), Semipalatinsk Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan produced 230 buses (+117%), Almaty Hyundai Trans Auto produced 208 units of equipment (+11%).

This year, about 4 thousand cars are produced monthly in Kazakhstan, the average monthly increase is 7%. According to ACAB forecasts, in 2019 the country’s automobile market will cross the 70 thousand mark, 40 thousand units of passenger and commercial vehicles of which will be domestically produced.
