Sales of new cars in the first quarter increased by 35%

According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (ACAB) in March 2021, sales of new cars in Kazakhstan increased by 21% - before 7 539 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as 823 units of trucks, special equipment and buses. Cumulative sales in the first quarter reached 24 161 units
 
Buyer interest remains at the highest level. In the first quarter the market grew by 35% compared to 2020 results. It is obvious that at the end of April the aggregate growth will approach the mark 75-80%. So, at the end of March last year, registrations and sales in the country were stopped due to quarantine and closed special service centers, and April 2020 itself ultimately became the worst month in the history of the Kazakh auto business. However, already in May the situation will normalize and return to normal.
