Today a solemn signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the “Association of Kazakhstan Automotive Business” and the “Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan” took place.
The signatories of the Memorandum, supporting the implementation of the Concept of Kazakhstan’s transition to a “green” economy and the transition to the principles of low-carbon development, agreed in principle to implement joint measures to improve the environment in the cities of Kazakhstan.

Mobile environmental laboratories of domestic production will be equipped with modern equipment and will allow for a comprehensive analysis of urban transport systems and to identify the level of their impact on air quality. Mobile stations will also be equipped with a portable air sampling device, equipment for determining the concentration of pollutants, personal protective equipment, navigation and communication devices, computers and other laboratory equipment. Two mobile stations will run in Nur-Sultan and Almaty, and also carry out scheduled measurements in other cities.
