The auto industry is on the rise: 12870 vehicles were produced in Kazakhstan in four months

GDP growth in the Republic of Kazakhstan for January-April of this year remains at 4%. Mechanical engineering grew by 19,8%, the main driver of the industry has become the auto industry. Demand for Kazakhstan Zhasalgan cars updates its best historical results: the market share at the end of April increased to 59%. And this is not the limit, already this month, according to forecasts of the Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), the share will exceed the 60% mark thanks to the next tranche of financing of the state program of preferential car loans.

According to ACAB data, against the backdrop of positive indicators for four months of this year, Kazakhstan produced 12 870 units of equipment (including cars, trucks, buses, special equipment, trailers and semi-trailers) with a total cost 83,9 billion tenge Production volumes in physical terms exceeded the results of January-April 2018 by 39,2%.

In four months, the Republic of Kazakhstan released 12 113 passenger cars (+ 37,9 %), 307 trucks (+ 29,5 %), 203 bus (+ 420,5 %), 17 units of other specialized equipment and 230 trailers/semi-trailers (+ 42,9 %).

According to preliminary data, during the period January-April it was sold 4 128 units of cars, trucks and buses produced at the Kostanay enterprise "SaryarkaAvtoProm" (+ 49,3 %). Asia Auto products sold in quantity 6 514 auto (+ 43,9 %). Sales of domestically produced cars reached11 110 units. The market share of cars with the “Made in Kazakhstan” label has increased from 46,9% to 56% in the current year. 

Based on the results of four months, Kostanay shows the greatest growth Hyundai, was sold in the republic 3 405 auto (+ 110,1 %). Lada sales increased by 31,5% to 4 664 units. Kia on the third line with the result 1 240 units (+ 53 %).
