AUTO INDUSTRY OF RK IN JANUARY: SHARE IN ENGINEERING REACHED A RECORD 47,9%

According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), in January 2023, produced in Kazakhstan 9 106 vehicles of all types, which 31,6% more than in January 2022. Of them 8 379 passenger cars (+ 42,2 %), 571 trucks, 107 buses, 38 semi-trailers and trailers and 11 units of special equipment. IN Office of National Statistics calculated that the total cost of manufactured products in the automotive industry is estimated at more than 101,6 billion tenge, With share of the automotive industry в mechanical engineering reached record highs 47,9%

The main production volumes in January come from the Kostanay plant Allur (“SaryarkaAvtoProm”) (4 836 units) и Almaty Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan (3 584 units). In January SemAZ produced 128 units commercial equipment. To Kokshetau KAMAZ-Engineering produced 77 trucks. Plant QazTehna in the city of Saran, Karaganda region - 69 buses. 

The most cars were produced in January Hyundai (3 584 units; +49%). The lion's share in the production range of the Almaty plant is still occupied by crossovers Tucson1 393 units 

Under the brand Chevrolet released in January 2 133 cars (+ 62,1 %). At the factory Allur Preparations are in full swing for the launch of CKD production with welding and painting of car bodies Chevrolet onix.  

Cars Kia As they continue to increase their market share, their output is also growing. Came off the assembly line in Kostanay 1 536 cars of this brand. The most popular in January was the brand's bestseller - sportage, produced 710 crossovers.
