Kazakhstanis spent 547 billion tenge on purchasing new cars |
According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), in 2018 official dealers sold 60 928 new passenger and commercial vehicles worth 546,8 billion tenge, on 24% more than in 2017. |
The leader of the last two years is in the top five most popular brands Toyota - 12 units. The greatest growth is in Hyundai (8 715 units) sales with the start of production of the entire line of cars in Kostanay increased by 2,4 times. Today, the share of the automotive industry in the mechanical engineering industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan is 19,2%. In 2017, this figure reached 16,4%.
