Market of commercial and road construction equipment in Kazakhstan
Last year's exhibition attracted more than 10 visitors from different countries interested in product groups, including trucks and vans, special vehicles, components and spare parts, buses and minivans, all-terrain vehicles and SUVs, trailers and semi-trailers, loaders, lifts and cranes, road construction equipment .
The shortage of high-quality and safe equipment on the market of trucks, tractors and buses in Kazakhstan is significant. The volume of production in this segment in the country is still small - in 2022, only 7,8 thousand trucks and 1,4 thousand buses were produced.
Vice Minister of Industry of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Ospanov, noted that the issue with the outdated fleet of buses has become so acute that they intend to solve it with the help of revolving funds from the preferential car loan program. According to him, the need for new buses is about 2 thousand units per year.
At the same time, it is necessary to establish regional service networks and provide international customers with reliable after-sales service and uninterrupted access to spare parts. This aspect is key for the development of the automotive industry in the region.
New investments in Kazakhstan's road infrastructure
The Kazakh government plans to allocate $15 billion to develop the country's road infrastructure over the next six years.
Minister of Transport Marat Karabaev emphasized at the international transport and logistics business forum New Silk Way that a strategically important step is aimed at improving the efficiency of cargo transportation between China and Europe. Plans include the construction and reconstruction of five thousand kilometers of new roads over the next five to ten years to create a full-fledged transit hub between China and Russia, as well as China and Europe.
Given the enormous interest and relevance, Komtrans Astana / Futuroad Expo Astana 2024 invites all interested participants and visitors to join this important event.
This exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with advanced developments and technologies in the field of commercial vehicles and road construction equipment, discuss current trends and prospects for the development of the industry.
Simultaneously and on the same site with Komtrans Astana, the international exhibition of spare parts, auto components, equipment and goods for vehicle maintenance in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, Automechanika Astana, will be held.
