BMCA invites you to Komtrans Astana / Futuroad Expo Astana 2024

International exhibition company BMCA invites you to participate in Komtrans Astana / Futuroad Expo Astana, the leading event for commercial vehicles and road construction equipment in Central Asia. The exhibition will be held from April 17 to 19, 2024, in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Organizers expect increased participation from companies presenting the latest developments and technologies in the freight and commercial vehicle industry at Komtrans Astana. Already announced exhibitors at Komtrans Astana / Futuroad Expo Astana 2024 include Truck Motors, Trans Starter, SVS-TRANS, Truck Service Kazakhstan, Virazh, and others.

The commercial and road construction equipment market in Kazakhstan

Last year's exhibition attracted more than 10,500 visitors from various countries interested in product groups including trucks and vans, special vehicles, components and spare parts, buses and minivans, all-terrain vehicles and SUVs, trailers and semi-trailers, loaders, lifts and cranes, and road construction equipment.

The shortage of high-quality and safe equipment in the truck, tractor, and bus market in Kazakhstan is significant. Production volume in this segment is still low in the country—only 7,8 trucks and 1,4 buses were produced in 2022.

Kazakhstan's Vice Minister of Industry, Ilyas Ospanov, noted that the issue of aging buses has become so acute that they intend to address it with the help of revolving funds from the preferential auto loan program. According to him, the need for new buses is approximately 2 units per year.

At the same time, it's essential to establish regional service networks and provide international customers with reliable after-sales service and uninterrupted access to spare parts. This aspect is key to the development of the automotive industry in the region.

New investments in Kazakhstan's road infrastructure

The Kazakh government plans to allocate $15 billion to develop the country's road infrastructure over the next six years.

At the New Silk Way International Transport and Logistics Business Forum, Transport Minister Marat Karabayev emphasized that this strategically important step is aimed at improving the efficiency of freight transport between China and Europe. Plans include the construction and reconstruction of 5,000 kilometers of new roads over the next five to ten years to create a fully-fledged transit hub between China and Russia, as well as between China and Europe.

Given the huge interest and relevance, Komtrans Astana / Futuroad Expo Astana 2024 invites all interested participants and visitors to join this important event.

This exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about cutting-edge developments and technologies in the field of commercial transport and road construction equipment, and discuss current trends and prospects for the industry's development.

Automechanika Astana, an international exhibition of spare parts, auto components, equipment, and products for vehicle maintenance in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, will be held simultaneously and at the same venue as Komtrans Astana.

Join Komtrans Astana / Futuroad Expo Astana 2024 and become part of the processes shaping the future of the automotive industry in Central Asia.
