The fourth generation of the Kia Carnival has become a significant step in the history of this model, allowing us to talk about a new class of car - a crossvan, combining the best qualities of the MPV segment, crossovers and business class cars. The new Carnival combines the characteristic features of previous generations of the model and design elements of the brand's line of crossovers and SUVs. The signature Tiger nose grille features elegant geometric details. The car is equipped with full LED headlights and daytime running lights, which also have spectacular geometric volumetric elements and are combined into a common ensemble.
Carnival offers a spacious interior with a variety of transformation options - the crossover can have a seven-seat or eight-seat configuration. A spectacular element of the interior was the panoramic screen on the front panel, which combined the displays of the digital instrument panel and multimedia systems. Some of the solutions that the fourth-generation Carnival offers are firsts on a Kia vehicle, and some are world firsts. For example, Carnival was the first car to have an intelligent opening system for power sliding side doors. In terms of driver assistance systems, the Drive Wise Carnival has become one of the most advanced among all modern cars.
On the Kazakh market, the crossover is offered with a 3,5-liter V6 petrol engine from the Smartstream line with an MPI distributed injection system. Its maximum power is 249 hp. s., and the torque is 331 N•m. The engine is coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission and drives the front axle.
Standard on the Kia Carnival are Kia's VSM Integrated Active Management System, Hill Start Assist (HAS), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Drive Mode Select and a power parking brake. In this configuration, the crossvan is equipped with a multimedia and navigation system with a 12,3″ screen with support for Apple Carplay / Android Auto, a premium BOSE audio system with 12 speakers, a Smart Key keyless entry system, electric sliding side doors and a tailgate with an intelligent opening system. The electric drive of the side doors can be controlled remotely, and the SEA safe exit system has not only warning functions, but also locking the rear doors. The side exterior mirrors are equipped with electric folding, and an “electrochromic” (automatically dimming) interior mirror is installed. The seats are upholstered in faux leather, and the driver's seat has 10-way power adjustment. The center console features a wireless smartphone charging panel. The cost of the Kia Carnival in the Prestige configuration is 23 tenge.
Seven-seat configuration Limousine offers a full range of comfort and safety options. These include an electronic Shift-by-wire transmission selector and steering-wheel-mounted gearshift paddles.
