The last months of the year are traditionally characterized by the highest sales of new cars. In November there was a decrease by 2,4%, but compared to the average level of monthly sales in 2018, November sales are higher by 12,9%. According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), in November dealers sold 5 286 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (-3,7%), and 373 units of trucks and buses (+ 19,6 %). At the end of eleven months of 2018, the market grew by 25,1% to 55 cars sold (161 units in January-November 44).
The top ten best-selling passenger car brands in November are again headed by Lada - 1 253 car (+ 8,9 % by October), total for eleven months: 12 061 auto (+ 56,1 % compared to the same period in 2017). For the first time in the last three years, Hyundai is in second position; due to cars localized in Kostanay, dealers managed to sell 1 024 auto (+ 13,8 %), however, this is only third place based on the results of less than a full year (7 626 units; + 134,4%). Toyota with the result 1 006 of cars sold in November in third place (-3,3%), but retains second position based on the results of eleven months - 11 215 cars since the beginning of the year (+ 34,6 %).
By the end of the year, sales intensified Kia и Nissan, in quantitative terms they are far from the top three: last month they sold 346 cars Kia (-20,5%) и 254 crossover and sedan Nissan (-6,6%), total since the beginning of 2018 – 2 593 и 2188cars sold, respectively. Renault in sixth place with a result of 223 units. (-14,9%) in November and 1 799 this year (-21%). The TOP 10 most successful ones are completed by: Volkswagen (164 units; -6,3%) and 1 in January-November (+ 1,2 %), Chevrolet (112 units; -15,2%) and 971 in 11 months (-30,9%), Lexus (109 units; -34,7%) and (1 301; +22,2%) and JAC — 60 cars in November and 1 096 at the end of the year (+ 85,8 %).
Toyota Camry continues to lead in the model standings – 388 sedans sold in November, in second place Lada Vesta, sedans and station wagons sold out in 383 copies, closes the top three Lada 4×4 (357). Fourth position Hyundai Elantra (342). Next on the list: Hyundai Tucson (269), Lada Largus (247), Hyundai Accent (216), Lada Granta (187), Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (148)and Hyundai creta — 135 auto.
