This is 59% less than sales in the first two months of 2015 (versus 17043 units in January-February 2015).

Hyundai moved up one place in the overall ranking of brands and ranks fourth with a result of 383 units. of cars sold in February, showing a quantitative increase in sales by 41% compared to January. Rounding out the top five are Kia cars, which tripled their monthly sales compared to the previous month (191 units versus 59 units sold in January 2016).

It is worth noting that more than 60% of January and February sales are for cars produced in 2015. Today, car dealerships sell cars at a favorable price, which already includes costs associated with extended liability of entrepreneurs (ER), which since February 2016 has become mandatory in the Republic of Kazakhstan for enterprises involved in the sale of cars. Thus, the new realities of the Kazakhstan car market will be more accurately reflected in spring sales, which traditionally turned out to be higher than those of the first winter months.

Sales of Kazakhstani cars in February increased both in share (by 5,76% compared to the previous month, to 19,63%) and in quantitative terms (by 41%, to 685 units). According to official data, Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, as of March 10, 2016, approved 5 applications in the amount of 917 billion 19 million tenge. Of these, second-tier banks issued 873,5 loans for the purchase of vehicles from domestic automakers for a total amount of 4 million tenge.

The average price of passenger cars sold in February was -4 tenge. The average price of SUVs sold in February was 056 tenge.
