KAZAKHSTAN CAR MARKET GROWED BY 22% IN NOVEMBER - AQAB
  • In eleven months, Kazakhstanis acquired 109 990 new cars
  • The market in January-November 2022 grew by 2,9%

In November, the Kazakh car market has traditionally crossed the mark of 100 thousand cars sold. According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), in November 2022 it was sold in Kazakhstan 11 402 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as 844 units of trucks and buses. The increase compared to November last year is 22,2%. In annual terms, the result of eleven months of 2,9% exceeds last year's figures - 109 990 cars sold (106 units for January-November 867).

The redistribution of market shares, associated with problems in the supply of cars assembled in Russia, continues. The share of cars localized in the Republic of Kazakhstan is still growing, at the same time, cars of Chinese brands are increasing their presence in Kazakhstan. Four of the ten best-selling car brands in November are from China.

First position in the top ten in November, secured Chevrolet (3 127 units; + 39,4 % by November last year). Second line with 3 083 ranks of cars sold Hyundai – this is one of the best results this year (+ 249%). Kia already traditionally on the third line - 1 718 units (+ 86,9 %). Second month in a row Chery in fourth place - 767 units (cars appeared in December 2021). Toyota – in fifth place of the best-selling cars in Kazakhstan (698 units; -46%). Sixth position EXEED - 369 units (sales start in April 2022). In seventh place c 351 sold car - JAC (+ 19,8 %). TOP-10 The most successful brands among Kazakhstani buyers are: Haval (258 units; + 23,4 %), Lada- 197 units (-86,7%) and Lexus (174 units; + 13,7 %).

Leading in terms of models Cobalt Chevrolet (2 278 units) and Hyundai Tucson (1 553 units), closes the top three Chevrolet Nexia - 571 units Next on the list: Hyundai Elantra (430 units), Chery Tigo 7 Pro (413 units), Kia Ceed (382 units), Kia K5 (354 units), Kia Sorento (353 units), Hyundai St. Fe (315 units) and Kia seltos (280 units).

In total, based on the results of eleven months with market share 27,95% leads the Chevrolet - 30 749 units (+ 13,1 %), Hyundai with a share 23,2% on the second line (25 518 units; + 25,5 %) closes the top three Kia - 12 853 units (+ 46,5 %) - 11,7% market.
