On December 13, in Kostanay, on behalf of the Head of State, regional akim Archimed Mukhambetov presented state awards and anniversary medals for his contribution to the socio-economic development of the region. The “Kurmet” Order was awarded to the services of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AllurGroup, President of the Association of Kazakhstan Automotive Business, Andrey Lavrentyev.
The Order of “Kurmet” is awarded to citizens for their services in the development of the economy, social sphere, science and culture, education, for exemplary service in government bodies and active social activities.
Among the recipients were also deputies of the regional maslikhat, members of the Public Council, labor veterans, heads of educational and cultural institutions, representatives of ethnocultural associations and many others.
Opening the ceremony, Akim of the Kostanay region Archimed Mukhambetov noted the significance of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan. The head of the region also emphasized that over a short period of development, the region’s automotive industry has shown a high growth rate for this industry. «As a result of the development of the automobile industry, the share of the region's manufacturing industry has increased and the investment climate has improved. Today, an industrial zone is being created, on the territory of which factories for the production of automotive components will be located, including jointly with Chinese partners. This will increase the localization level to 50%. In addition, light industry production, as well as construction industry enterprises, will ultimately be located on the territory of IZ. For these purposes, a total of about 5 billion tenge will be allocated from the state budget,” - said A. Mukhambetov.
After receiving the state award, Andrey Lavrentyev noted that this merit is the result of the work of the entire AllurGroup team, which operates in Astana, Kostanay and Almaty, and also thanked the Head of State and the government for their support in the development of the new industry. “Such a high assessment from the Head of State is very valuable for me personally and for my entire team. This is high recognition of our work in developing the automotive industry. We still have many big tasks ahead - increasing production, the share of sales within the country and entering foreign markets. And recognition suggests that we are on the right path" - shared by Andrey Lavrentyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AllurGroup, President of the Association of Kazakhstan Automotive Business.
During the event, it was also noted that the production of combine harvesters is steadily developing in the region. Next year, within the framework of the established joint venture KazBelMash, it is planned to produce up to 500 units. combines per year.
Let us remind you that Andrey Lavrentyev is the President of the Association of Kazakhstan Automotive Business, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AllurGroup, and since 2016 also a member of the Board of Directors, an independent director of Bank of Astana JSC. Among the entrepreneur's merits are such high awards as: the Order of the National Economic Chamber Union "Atameken" for special services in the development of business and the economy of Kazakhstan; Badge “Kurmetti machine zhasaushy” for a significant contribution to the Kazakh automobile industry. In June 2015, Andrey Lavrentyev represented Kazakhstan in the finals of the international competition “Entrepreneur of the Year” in Monte Carlo (Monaco). A year earlier, the entrepreneur won the Ernst&Young International Competition “Entrepreneur of the Year 2014” in Kazakhstan.
