The Kostanay plant has begun small-unit production of a Chinese crossover

At the SaryarkaAvtoProm automobile production plant, a modernized production line was launched for the production of cars without a frame structure using the ckd with welding and body painting. The first car to be produced on this line using monocoque technology is a crossoverJACS3. The launch of this line was carried out as part of the visit of the President of Kazakhstan to the plant.

 

On November 8, the head of state visited the Kostanay automobile plant SaryarkaAvtoProm, part of the AllurGroup. The President was presented with a line of Kostanay-made cars of the JAC, Peugeot, Iveco brands and a range of JAC electric vehicles.

As part of the President's visit, an Investment Agreement was signed between China National Vehicles Import & Export Corporation and the shareholders of the Kostanay company on the acquisition of 51% of the shares of Allur Group of Companies JSC.

 

This agreement is one of the TOP 50 strategic priority agreements between Kazakhstan and China.

In addition to the agreement on the sale of shares of the Chinese company, an agreement on mutual cooperation was signed between SAP LLP and Uzavtosanoat JSC. Within the framework of this agreement, import-export relations will be developed, the implementation of joint projects will be considered, and the possibility of creating a joint venture will be considered to modernize the technical base of enterprises in the automotive sector of Kazakhstan.

A memorandum of cooperation was also signed between China National Vehicles Import And Export Corporation, SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP and Kazakhexport Export Insurance Company JSC on cooperation, the result of which will be the exclusive right of SAP LLP to produce JAC cars for the Russian market.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Allur Group of Companies Andrey Lavrentiev:

“Development of export potential is one of the priority areas of the company’s activities. We see interest in our cars from neighboring markets, so with the support of KazakhExport, this year the first batch of JAC cars was shipped to Tajikistan with a total project cost of $10,5 million. We are confident that the growth trend in the export of Kazakh cars will continue, this is confirmed by the figures, compared to last year, exports to the Republic of Kazakhstan increased 3,7 times.”

Based on the results of 10 months of this year, the SaryarkaAvtoProm production site produced more than 4000 cars, worth 55,8 billion tenge. Compared to the same period last year, production volume increased 2,2 times. The volume of contributions to the budget amounted to more than 800 million tenge; for comparison, last year this figure was 131 million tenge.

In 2017, the plant underwent a complete modernization of small-unit production lines, new welding, painting and assembly shops were built using monocoque technology, unique to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The updated line has become universal and allows you to optimize production by assembling body and frame cars on one line.

AllurGroup

AllurGroup includes the production sites "Agromashholding" and "SaryarkaAvtoProm", the dealer and distribution network AllurAuto. AllurGroup is the only company in Kazakhstan whose facilities produce passenger cars using the small-knot design (CKD) method. 

SaryarkaAvtoProm production sites produce SsangYong, Peugeot, JAC, Hyundai, Ravon, ChevroletNiva and commercial vehicles from Iveco and JAC.

AllurGroup includes the distribution of the SsangYong, Peugeot, Iveco, JAC brands in Kazakhstan. The AllurAuto company, part of the AllurGroup, is the official dealer of automobile brands Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Ford and Ravon.
