The Ural Repair Plant was established in 1955 on the premises of a forest protection station by a decision of the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR with the mission of repairing agricultural machinery. At that time, the plant's production capacity consisted of workshops for repairing automotive, tractor, and power electrical equipment, employing 50 people.
Over 50 years of industrial and technical development, the plant has become one of Kazakhstan's most modern and growing enterprises. During the reform period, Uralskagroremmash managed to maintain its production base, and in the years of independence, it gradually began to develop steadily, steadily increasing production volumes.
All this became possible thanks to the efforts and hard work of a united, highly qualified team, united by a single goal, and engineering and technical personnel.
The main activity is the production of fire-fighting, specialized and agricultural equipment, complex metal structures and the production of zinc-coated products.
Currently, Uralskagroremmash JSC possesses the production experience, technical resources, and a quality control system to provide a wide range of technical services. It boasts production facilities, compressor and oxygen stations, railway access roads, and extensive storage areas for materials. The 14-hectare site houses eight main and seven auxiliary workshops and areas with up to 1000 pieces of equipment.
In response to modern market demands, Uralskagroremmash JSC has installed and launched a hot-dip galvanizing shop, employing anti-corrosion zinc and polyester coating technologies for various metal structures. Metal structures undergo a full cycle of surface preparation, cleaning, and drying. The galvanizing process takes place in a 7000 x 1600 x 1500 mm bath using a new zinc-aluminum composition. The high-quality zinc coating guarantees at least 25 years of trouble-free service in harsh climates and aggressive environments.
The plant is a mechanical engineering enterprise focused on the production of complex and labor-intensive products requiring a wide range of technological processes. Its fleet of technological equipment matches the company's versatile profile.
In January 2004, Uralskagroremmash JSC received a certificate of conformity for its quality system according to ISO-9001:2000 ST RK ISO 9001:2001.
Uralskagroremmash JSC employs highly qualified specialists and is staffed according to their specialties and positions. The total workforce currently stands at 324.
JSC Uralskagroremmash produces the following products:
- fire trucks based on KamAZ, URAL, ZIL vehicles (designed for extinguishing fires);
- rapid response and first aid vehicles based on GAZ vehicles;
- fuel trucks, tank trucks and tar distributors based on GAZ, ZIL, KamAZ vehicles (designed for transporting petroleum products);
- street cleaning vehicle MUG-23847 based on ZIL and KamAZ vehicles (designed for snow removal and street cleaning in municipal services);
- petrol filling columns (designed for pumping in and out petroleum products (gasoline, diesel fuel);
- tank equipment with a capacity of up to 100 m3 with breathing fittings (breathing valves, ball valves);
- metal structures with anti-corrosion coating (hot-dip galvanizing and electrochemical galvanizing, zinc-filled and epoxy compositions, polyester powder materials);
- spanners of sizes from 8x10 to 27x30, a wheel wrench with a mounting blade;
- agricultural machinery: trailed swath harvesters ZhVP-9 and ZhVP-6, row-crop sprayers OPSh-2000-21, seed treater PK-20, forage harvester KSS-2,6 (designed for harvesting corn for silage), seed drills SKS-2,1, grain loader ZPN-100.
A joint venture was established at the plant with the Samara plant "Elektroshchit" for the production of high-voltage electrical equipment.
The company is a co-founder, together with JSC KazAgroFinance, of a machine-technological station in Uralsk.
