International Financial Management - ACAB

ASMB Astana School of Management and Business provides the opportunity to take a 3-day module “International Financial Management” at SBS Swiss Business School in Zurich, Switzerland.

In addition to completing the training course, guest speakers are invited for our students, business visits to the enterprises of leading companies, as well as a cultural and entertainment program are organized. In this on-site module, participants are invited to Schroders Bank (Zurich), as well as to the largest transport company in Switzerland, Bombardier.

As part of this study tour, students monitor the entire management and production chain and learn from international experience.

International finance can be seen as an extension of domestic financial transactions, since it does not aim to develop a conflict between domestic and international finance. Both subjects focus on making better decisions to increase profits for the firm. The key concept is cash flow. The main goal of an MNC is still the same as any other firm: maximum return to shareholders.

Module teacher Thomas Signer (MBA) - studied at Carnegie Mellon University in 1990, where he received a Master of Science in Industrial Administration. After graduating from Business School, Thomas Siegner joined leading Japanese investment bank Nomura Securities in New York, where he worked for almost four years. In 1998, Thomas Signer opened his own investment advisory company, SIGNER Management, in Switzerland. He also teaches finance to Executive MBA students at SBS Swiss Business School.
