According to the results of the first quarter, Kazakhstan produced 6 857 vehicles (cars, trucks, specialized vehicles, buses, trailers, semi-trailers). According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB) the most productive month at the beginning of 2018 was March - Kazakh automakers produced 2580 units of equipment for 18.8%more than in February. In total, according to the results of the first quarter, Kazakhstani enterprises produced 6494 passenger car (+ 109,8%), 177 trucks (+ 6%), 44 bus (+ 63%), 113 trailers and semi-trailers (+ 50,7%) и 29 units of other specialized equipment (+ 81,3%). According to preliminary data from AKAB, Kostanay showed the greatest increase in production "SaryarkaAvtoProm" +408% compared to last year’s results, in three months it was produced 2108 cars, trucks and buses. In Ust-Kamenogorsk the enterprise "Asia Auto" Was collected 4411 cars. According to the results of three months, sales of cars assembled in Kazakhstan reached 5 406 units (including exports), which is 109% more than in January-March last year. The market share of the domestic auto industry has grown to record levels 45,8%. The TOP 10 most popular locally produced cars based on the results of the first quarter are led by brands Lada (2563), Hyundai (1143), Kia (530), Ravon (305) and JAC (262).Rounding out the top ten Chevrolet (177), KAMAZ (79), Skoda (68), Peugeot (42) and Foton (42).
