Sales of new cars in Kazakhstan in September increased by 25% to 8316 units. (sales of commercial equipment of the KAMAZ-Engineering group are not included). This result approximately coincided with the pessimistic forecast of ACAB, according to which September sales should have amounted to 8681 units. new cars. Thus, based on the results of three quarters, sales of new cars amounted to 77010 units, which is 37% lower than the same indicators last year.
At the end of September, the most impressive increase in sales compared to the previous month was shown by the Peugeot brand (+1487,5%). Also, a noticeable increase in sales compared to August was shown by cars - Gaz (+69,8), Volkswagen (+92,5%), Chevrolet (+261%), Daewoo (115,6%), Mitsubishi (45,7 %), ZAZ (+137,5), MG (+150%), BMW (77%).
Based on the results of the first month of autumn, sales in the CV (Commercial Vehicle) segment increased by 30% (939 units versus 721 units). The sales leader in this segment was the Gaz 3302 truck (470 units). In the LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) segment, there was an increase of 7% (527 units versus 489 units in August). In the SUV segment for the reporting month there was also an increase in sales - 1843 units, 83 units. of which belong to the premium segment. The best-selling car among SUVs was Renault Duster (327 units). The sales volume of new passenger cars amounted to 4926 units. against 3738 units. last month. In this segment, the best-selling cars in September were Lada Priora (650 units), Hyundai Accent (522 units) and Volkswagen Polo (516 units).
In September, official dealers sold 1569 units. cars produced in Kazakhstan, which is 46% more than in August. The best-selling locally produced cars in September were Skoda Rapid (201 units), Lada 4x4 (105 units) and Peugeot 301 (100 units). In total, since the beginning of the year, 13382 units have been sold. cars produced in Kazakhstan.
In monetary terms, since the beginning of the year, the new car sales market amounted to USD 1639 million versus USD 2738,7 million in the same period last year. Average September offer price for cars and SUVs: $17113. Last month this figure was equal to 21574 US dollars. Thus, the average monthly offer price for cars and SUVs decreased by 21%. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the 43% devaluation of the tenge.
