According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (ACAB), sales of new cars in July compared to June showed a decrease (-10,24%), however, the market is in positive territory compared to July last year at 41,79%.The global automotive industry continues to face a serious shortage of electronic components, and ACAB analysts predict that the shortage will continue in the coming months. This will affect supplies to Kazakhstan as well.

A new problem was the limitation of supplies for the transit of Kazakhstani goods through China. Today, this issue worries both Kazakhstani manufacturers and importers. If supplies cannot be established in the near future, growth will stop and suppliers will be forced to extend their commitments.

In July 2021, Kazakhstani dealers sold 10 301 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as 367 units of trucks, special equipment and buses. Since the beginning of the year it has been sold 66 946 units, which is 53,1% more than in January-July 2020.
