According to the Statistics Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan Over the seven months of this year, 9678 units of equipment were produced in Kazakhstan (including cars, trucks and buses, excluding agricultural machinery, trailers and semi-trailers) with a total value of 78,5 billion tenge. This is 3,5 times more than for the same period in 2016, when the production volume was 2 units.
AKAB reports that in July Kazakhstan produced 1099 units. passenger cars and trucks, as well as buses, which 39% less than last month (June) of the current year. In monetary terms, according to the Statistics Committee, production volume for July amounted to 14 billion. tenge
In total, enterprises - members of the Association of Kazakhstan Automotive Business - produced products for the period from January to July by 51,9 billion tenge
A Kostanay enterprise, the SaryarkaAvtoProm automobile plant, showed a significant increase in production compared to last year. The volume of car production at this production site in July 2017 exceeded the volume of the same period last year by almost 1,5 times. In quantitative terms, the volume of car production for 7 months of the current year in Kostanay amounted to 2 705 units of equipment worth 41,61 billion tenge is 53% of the total volume of automobile products produced in Kazakhstan (in monetary terms).
According to AKAB, the largest production volume is in the passenger car segment - 89,7% (including sedans, SUVs, as well as light commercial vehicles), in 2017 rolled off the assembly lines of Kazakhstani automobile manufacturing enterprises 8680 units this type. The share of trucks and buses of all types accounts for 10,3% production, which corresponds 998 units. The passenger car production segment showed a decline by 41% compared to June: -26% in Kostanay region and – 45% in the East Kazakhstan region.
Truck production increased by 7,5% compared to previous month. KAMAZ-Engineering showed positive dynamics.
Due to the decrease in production, there was a decrease in the share of domestically produced cars in the sales structure on the official market of Kazakhstan. In July, the share of sales of domestically produced cars in the Republic of Kazakhstan amounted to 38,4%.
