Demand for domestically produced cars remains high; in October, automakers released 3 188 units of equipment for the total amount 21 million tenge is almost twice as much as last year. According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), in January-October 2018, Kazakhstan produced 25 897 vehicles of all types in the amount 162 million tenge against 15 051 food and 115 084 млн tenge in the same period of 2017. Traditionally, the growth is ensured by passenger cars - this year it was produced 24 115 passenger cars (+ 86%), 882 lorry (-21%), 448 trailers and semi-trailers (+ 106%), 249 buses (-54%) and 163 units of other specialized equipment (-13%).
According to preliminary data, in Kostanay "SaryarkaAvtoProm" was produced in ten months 9 321 unit of cars, trucks and buses, the increase reaches 132%. In Ust-Kamenogorsk at the enterprise "Asia Auto" Was collected 15 012 auto (+ 60 %). To Kokshetau "KAMAZ Engineering" produced 440 trucks, Semipalatinsk SemAZ produced 271 trucks, Almaty Hyundai Trans Auto produced 194 units of equipment on account Daewoo Bus — 117 buses.

The situation with buses should improve in the near future. The state allocates money to finance legal entities and individual entrepreneurs who purchase buses on lease at 7% through DBK-Leasing JSC. In the first years, it is planned to renew about 700 buses. In the medium term, taking into account the revolving funding, the country’s bus fleet should be significantly updated.”
