The official automobile market of Kazakhstan in January October of this year showed an increase of 3%, just under 134 thousand cars. This is not much, but also a lot against the backdrop of falling sales in Russia. We do not expect significant changes in the trend in the fourth quarter; most likely, the year will end with a result of 170 thousand cars. A positive trend in the market is the growth in the production of domestic cars.

Despite the fact that shipments to the domestic market have decreased slightly compared to the same period last year, but according to the statistical agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, production has reached 32 thousand since the beginning of the year for all types of vehicles. The prerequisites for continued market growth next year are currently being laid by our government: several program measures aimed at supporting the automotive industry in Kazakhstan are being considered. Separately, it should be noted the new course of development of the country “Nurly Zhol - The Path of the Future”, which was given by the President in his last Address. The strategy of the New Economic Policy “Nurly Zhol” will become a guide for overcoming obstacles caused, among other things, by the unstable political and economic situation in the world. Thanks to the stated strategy, it is planned to continue structural reforms in the economy, which have a multiplier effect for all areas of activity, including the automotive industry. It is impossible not to pay attention to the fact that the New Economic Policy is long-term in nature and is aimed at the further development of transport, energy, industrial and social infrastructure, small and medium-sized businesses. The automotive cluster of the Kazakhstan economy continues to confidently develop and improve thanks to the joint efforts of the state and business.
