Market of the Republic of Kazakhstan: Results of the first half of 2021

• Over six months, Kazakhstanis purchased 56 new cars 
​​​​​​​• The market in January-June 2021 grew by 55,8%
According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), sales of new cars in June 2021 increased by 21,18%, compared to June last year. Kazakh dealers sold 11 099 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as 926 units of trucks and buses.

Car shortages and high demand persist throughout the world, however, according to the results of the first half of 2021, the Kazakh market grew by 55,8% to 56 418cars sold (36 units for January-June last year).

Top ten brands in the first half of the year Chevrolet 14 754 units, on the second line with the result 12 238 cars – Hyundai, third position for Toyota 6 979cars. TOP 10 most popular models in the first half of 2021: Chevrolet Nexia – (6 926 units), Cobalt Chevrolet – (6 346 units) and Hyundai accent – (5 276 units). Next on the list: Toyota Camry (2 728 units), Kia Rio (2 655 units), Hyundai creta (2 317 units), Toyota RAV4 (1 825 units), Volkswagen Polo (1 463 units), Lada Vesta (1 288 units), Hyundai Tucson (1 284 units).
