According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), produced in July 2018 2 586 vehicles of all types, on 7,3% less than in June. The cost of automotive products released in July is estimated at 15 million tenge,the cumulative result of seven months of 2018 exceeds the same result of last year by 32,3% (103 million versus 795 million tenge). Production volumes in physical terms exceeded last year’s figure by 73,9% (17 versus 246 units). At the end of July, in Ust-Kamenogorsk, the Asia Auto enterprise collected 1 599 cars. SaryarkaAvtoProm in Kostanay produced 828 units of equipment, in Kokshetau KAMAZ Engineering produced 60 trucks, Semipalatinsk SemAZ and Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan shipped 53 trucks and 5 buses, respectively. In Almaty, Hyundai Trans Auto produced 27 units of equipment. According to the results of seven months, sales of cars assembled in Kazakhstan reached 15 units (including exports), which is 484% more than in January-July last year. The market share of the domestic auto industry increased to 49,7% in July. The TOP 10 most popular locally produced cars based on the results of seven months are led by brands Lada (6 905), Hyundai (3 097), Kia (1 441), JAC (774) and Ravon (552).
