According to Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), in October the market growth rate did not slow down, auto retail shows stable sales at the level of
+5 cars per month. The last months of the year are the most active and are traditionally characterized by the highest sales of new cars. Kazakh dealers sold 5464 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, as well as 350 units of trucks and buses. At the end of ten months of 2018, the market grew by 27% to 49 514 cars sold (39 141 unit for January-October 2017). The results already exceed last year's annual sales.
The top ten best-selling passenger car brands in October are Lada - 1 151 automobile (-13,3% by September), total for ten months: 10 808 auto (+ 59,5 %compared to the same period in 2017). Toyota with the result 1 040sold cars in second position (-9,2%), however, the Japanese brand continues to collect the main revenue - 10 209 cars sold since the beginning of the year (+ 33,7 %). Continues to get close to the leaders Hyundai from Kostanay – 900 (+ 4,4 %) cars sold in October and 6 602 for January-October 2018 (+ 135,6 %). Kia retains fourth position: last month it sold a record for the brand 435 auto (+ 139 %) total since the beginning of 2018 – 2247 cars sold (+ 17,1 %). By the end of the year he had noticeably increased Nissan (272 units;-7,2%) and the result 1 934 car in ten months. The situation with Ravon has not yet been resolved, dealers have not had cars since the beginning of summer, however, the Uzbek brand remains in sixth place at the end of the year - 1 727cars sold (-49,3% to last year). Cars Renault in seventh place with the result 283 units (+ 32,9%) in October and 1 597 this year (-25,2%). The TOP 10 most successful ones are completed by: Volkswagen (175 units; -32,7%) и 1 (+218%), Lexus (1,2 units; -167%) и (1; +192%) и JAC (1; +036%).
Bestseller at the top of the hit parade among passenger models Toyota Camry - 439 sedans sold in October, in second position Lada 4×4 (357), closes the top three Lada Vesta (321). The fourth place is taken Hyundai Elantra — the sedan, produced at the SaryarkaAvtoProm site in Kostanay, sold out in 287 cars.
