The new gas station of the Compass gas station + express market complex is radically different from those already installed in the Republic of Kazakhstan - the fast charging station of the Terra 53 model from ABB installed on it allows you to charge electric vehicles of all types up to 80% in 10-30 minutes and regulate the power consumption of constant and AC current using one of three connectors CCS, CHAdeMO and Mode3.

The official launch of the station took place on June 5. It was attended by representatives of government agencies, the head of the network of Compass gas station + express market complexes, a representative of ABB - the world leader in the production of universal fast charging stations, entrepreneurs, owners of electric vehicles, representatives of AllurGroup, the first head of the fast food restaurant chain Burger King, and also presented a network of cafes "Greenwich"

As part of the event, the first Kazakh electric car JAC iEV5, produced at the facilities of AllurGroup, was presented. Today, AllurGroup is also busy in the process of organizing the infrastructure of electric vehicles. The Kostanay manufacturer of electric vehicles has initiated, jointly with the Almaty city akimat, a program to create a network of charging stations in the southern capital.

At the moment, the total number of electric vehicles in Kazakhstan is more than 200 units. So far they are intended mainly for movement within one city, but further development of the network of fast charging stations will make it possible to make long trips of more than several hundred kilometers and intercity trips.

Among the electric cars presented in the Republic of Kazakhstan, there are many models of European and Asian production, which the new universal charging station for electric vehicles is already focused on; it is suitable for 13 brands of the global automotive industry.

During Expo Astana 2017 (all summer), electric charging will be provided free of charge.

“By building a developed network of electric car battery recharging stations, we will increase the number of owners of environmentally friendly cars and continue to develop “green energy” in general,” said Anuar Kaldiyarov, director of the Compass gas station + express market complex network.
