Today, a pilot program has been launched in Kazakhstan to accept out-of-service self-propelled agricultural equipment. The start of the program took place at the site of the HETS recycling plant in the Karaganda region with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the management of the ROP Operator and representatives of the Association of Kazakhstan Automotive Business.
Reception of old agricultural machinery will be carried out in 10 regions of Kazakhstan (Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Karaganda, Taldykorgan, Semey, Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Taraz).
Agricultural machinery is accepted in exchange for discount certificates. The denomination of the discount certificate varies from 560 thousand tenge to 2 million tenge, depending on the type and configuration of self-propelled agricultural machinery. It is worth noting that for now combine harvesters can be handed over for recycling only in the cities of Petropavlovsk, Kostanay, Kokshetau and Pavlodar.
The first out-of-service agricultural equipment was accepted by the Karaganda collection point from representatives of the Akmola Agrofirm “Rodina”. Farmers handed over 6 tracked tractors, model T402, for further disposal. The agricultural machinery was fully equipped and valued at one million tenge each.
The discount certificate can be used to purchase new agricultural machinery produced in Kazakhstan or when purchasing light, cargo and passenger transport manufactured in our country. The program allows you to sum up two certificates when purchasing one agricultural machinery or vehicle, as well as re-register the certificate to another person, but no more than two times. The validity period of the certificate from the moment of its registration is 12 months. As part of the pilot program for accepting agricultural machinery for recycling, it is planned to accept no more than 100 tractors and 20 combines by the end of the year. The implementation of the program for the recycling of out-of-service agricultural machinery will allow agricultural producers to renew their fleet of agricultural machinery, which is 80% outdated, stimulates the production of environmentally friendly vehicles and contributes to the creation of a full-fledged auto recycling system. |
