A centuries-old port connecting Europe and Asia, the ancient Silk Road leads to the future

The Kazakhstan Automobile Business Association participated in the China Automobile Export Forum 2024, themed "A Century-Old Port Connecting Europe and Asia, the Ancient Silk Road Leads to the Future," which was held from October 16 to 18 in Khorgos, Xinjiang, China.

The forum brought together representatives of the automotive industry and provided a platform for discussing new opportunities and challenges facing Chinese automobile exports.

At the forum, AKAB representatives focused on an in-depth analysis of current trends in the automotive industry, sharing experiences and strategic planning concepts for the Central Asian region. Particular attention was paid to the Kazakhstan market, which has significant potential for growth and development in light of global changes in the automotive industry.

"We see enormous opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. Participating in such an important event as the China Automotive Export Forum allows us not only to study best practices but also to develop strategies that will help us adapt to a dynamically changing market," noted Vladimir Sergeyevich Gerasimenko, President of AKAB.

The Kazakhstan Automobile Business Association is confident that the results of this forum will form the basis for further cooperation between Kazakhstan and China and will help strengthen the country's position in the international automotive market.
