Since 2017, Kazakhstan Agro Innovation Corporation LLP plans to assemble harrows, plows and other forage equipment and, together with MAZ OJSC, assemble municipal equipment based on the MAZ chassis. Currently, the company's design team is conducting its own development of mounted and trailed equipment for agricultural and urban municipal equipment, and various add-ons for farmers' personal cars. The plant's products will be sold at the exhibition and sale of the industrial and technological park, through leasing of KazAgroFinance JSC and 17 branches of the Virage car dealership in all regions of the republic. The Virage company, which began its activities in Kazakhstan with dealership centers and auto repair shops, has now firmly grown into the industrial structure of the country.

“In the framework of the capital’s Food Belt alone, investments worth almost 85 billion tenge have been attracted to implement more than 100 projects. Over the past 15 years, more than 10 thousand new tractors, grain harvesters and seeding systems have been purchased,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

It is worth noting that the demand for agricultural machinery significantly exceeds supply. According to S.S. Chegeev, General Director of Kazakhstan Agro Innovation Corporation LLP, “in Kazakhstan, more than 650 entities are involved in the agro-industrial complex and about 000 units of agricultural machinery, mounted and trailed implements, but almost 1 percent of this equipment is operated more than 000 years old, she is outdated both physically and mentally. Modern technologies will increase productivity by 000 times! But in order to provide our farmers with such modern high-performance equipment, companies like Kazakhstan Agro Innovation Corporation LLP need to work for decades. Now we can provide only 70-20 percent of what is needed.”

The state actively supports the agro-industrial complex. Thus, the republic allocated 32 billion tenge for the development of various agricultural projects, and an additional 10 billion tenge was allocated to support agricultural cooperation.

“We see how agriculture has transformed over the past quarter century, and Kazakhstan has not only strengthened its position as an agricultural power, but is also gaining new positions in the food market.

All these years, the state has found opportunities to systematically support the agro-industrial sector, which is currently considered a strategic priority,” the Head of State noted in his address to employees of the agro-industrial complex.
