History of the plant

1982 year - Kostanay Diesel Plant was founded in accordance with the Decree of the USSR Government of December 10.12.1979, 1061. No. 313/XNUMX for the production of a family of licensed air-cooled diesel engines with design and technological documentation from Klöckner-Humbold-Deutz (Germany).

The construction of the plant became possible thanks to the personal participation of the current President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, who defended this decision in the Council of Ministers of the USSR.

1982 - 1992 years - construction and creation of capacities in the volume of the 1st stage of the plant - 20 thousand Ural-744 engines per year.

1987 - 1991 years — purchase and installation of equipment. The plant's technological equipment was purchased from developed European, Eastern European and CIS countries, taking into account up to 70% of the production of parts and assemblies of licensed air-cooled engines at KDZ. During this time, the enterprise installed 23 automatic lines made in Germany, an automated foundry complex with equipment from Japan and Italy, technological equipment for the main production - 2315 units, including 7 specialized automatic lines (crankshaft, camshaft, cylinder head, crankcase, cylinder - piston, connecting rod)

1992 year — the plant’s production capacity for 6 thousand diesel engines per year was introduced. Otherwise the project was 85% completed.

1992 - 1994 years - equipment was launched.

1991 - 1995 years — during the process of adjusting and testing the plant’s equipment, a total of 405 engines were produced.

1996 - 2003 years — a rehabilitation procedure was carried out in relation to the Kostanay Diesel Plant, and then bankruptcy proceedings.

19 March 2003 year — JSC Agromashholding acquired the bankruptcy estate of the former Kostanay diesel plant at an auction, incl. Lot No. 1 – a unified technological complex for the production of a diesel engine, Lot No. 2 – real estate, vehicles, a railway dead end, inventory items.

The investment project “Restoration of production and organization of serial production of the modernized AMZ-MAN engine and the creation of service centers for servicing agricultural machinery” is financed by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. The amount of the loan provided by DBK for a period of 15 years is $20 million. The project marked the beginning of the development of high-tech rural engineering in Kazakhstan. The implementation of the project will provide the country's domestic market with inexpensive and high-quality diesel engines, spare parts, and create a developed network of service centers for servicing agricultural machinery throughout Kazakhstan.

2003 year – the process of restoring the production complex; in parallel with the restoration of the plant’s infrastructure, work was carried out on the design, manufacture of equipment and repair of process equipment.

This is what the plant management building of the Kostanay Diesel Plant looks like today

3 September 2003 years – Visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the Kostanay Diesel Plant.

The restoration program of the Kostanay Diesel Plant (KDZ) was taken under the special control of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev announced this at a meeting with the management of the plant during a working trip to the Kostanay region.

“In the early 80s, I myself stood at the origins of this plant, and it hurt me to see how it stood idle,” the President said.

N. Nazarbayev noted that the state will provide support in the restoration of the KDZ.

From May to September 2003, the volume of investments made by AgromashHolding OJSC in the plant has already amounted to more than $4,7 million. 285 jobs have been created at the enterprise. Work is underway to restore water and energy supply systems and repair technological equipment. Preparations for the heating season have been completed and the roof has been restored. The plant is ready to operate in winter conditions.

26 September 2003 years — the engine testing station was launched. On the same day, a test sample of the engine was tested. Experts highly appreciated the results obtained. The diesel engine performed positively: it started on the first try, and in terms of power level and fuel consumption it corresponded to the required technical and economic indicators. The new engine testing station is very important, since all the plant's products will go to consumers through it. Already, 15 engines of type A-01M, A-41, assembled at KDZ from Altai engine kits, are in line for the test station. The engines are intended for installation on Kazakh agricultural machinery - tractors of the brands “Kazakhstan”, “DT-75”, “T-4A”, road equipment, compressors and others.

2004 year — preparation for the production of a number of components and parts of diesel engines produced by the Altai Motor Plant, as well as components for a number of other engines, including water and oil pumps, piston, piston pin, fasteners, has been completed. Preparations for the production of cylinder liners, crankshafts, and connecting rods are underway.

April 30 2004 years — Agromashholding has completed the first restoration stage at the Kostanay Diesel Plant. Since the acquisition of KDZ Holding, it has carried out a colossal amount of work related to the restoration of communications, engineering and technological networks, thermal circuits and much more. other. During the period March 2003 – April 2004, Agromashholding invested more than 1,5 billion tenge in the enterprise.

5 meters of storm sewer, 600 sq. m. were repaired. m of soft roofing, landscaping was carried out. 72 cubic meters of melt and groundwater were pumped out of the flooded communication tunnels and the basement of the main building. The plant area of 296 sq.m. was cleaned. To carry out construction and installation work, 5 contractors were involved and about 000 jobs were created for construction specialties. KDZ began preparations for certification of the enterprise’s quality management system according to international standards ISO 25:400. Currently, specialists from the State Scientific Research Institute of Industrial Tractor Manufacturing (Russia, Chelyabinsk) are conducting quality system training for more than 22 plant employees. The plant plans to receive ISO 400: 9001 series certification next summer.

Work continues to prepare for the full-scale commissioning of KDZ capacities in the summer of 2005 and the gradual organization of serial production of the modernized AMZ-MAN engine (the project is financed by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan). Currently, KDZ employs 350 people. Their average salary is 28 thousand tenge.

227 pieces of equipment were restored. Oil and water pumps have been prepared for launch into production, and their first pilot batches have been produced. In the commissioning mode, our own boiler house with a capacity of 24 Gcal was launched.

Production of a pilot industrial batch of 1000 pistons has begun. To more fully realize the capabilities of the unique MAHLE line, a foundry site for the production of piston blanks was launched. Preparations for production of the sleeve are underway - the launch is planned for December. Troubleshooting of the crankshaft line is being completed - launch is scheduled for March 2005. The output of hardware products is increasing monthly.

For 9 months of 2004 The plant produced products worth more than 208 million tenge.

The large amount of work carried out to restore the plant, preparation for the implementation of investment projects with the assistance of DBK, prospects for the development of domestic mechanical engineering and Kazakhstan’s intention to join the WTO, require that the KDZ, named by the President in the Address to the people of Kazakhstan as one of the examples of industrial and innovative development of the country, introduced a modern production management quality system. The transition to certification according to ISO 9001: 2000 standards will provide an opportunity to create quality at all stages of interaction between KDZ structural divisions and will allow AgromashHolding enterprises to make maximum use of the preserved and developing technical potential of a unique enterprise.

November 19 2004 years — as part of a working trip to the Kostanay region, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Danial Akhmetov visited the Kostanay diesel plant.

A large amount of work is being carried out at KDZ to prepare for the full-scale commissioning of the plant's facilities in the summer of 2005 and the gradual organization of serial production of the modernized AMZ-MAN engine.

More than 300 pieces of equipment have been restored.

In October of this year, the first pilot batches of water and oil pumps were produced, a foundry for the production of piston blanks was launched, its production began, and by the end of the year it is planned to produce 10 thousand pistons.

Production for the production of sleeves is being prepared (the launch is planned for December). Troubleshooting of the crankshaft line is being completed - the launch will take place in March 2005. The output of hardware products is increasing monthly.

For months 10 The plant assembled 408 A-41, A-01 M engines. A significant increase in diesel production is expected after the VAT issue is resolved in favor of domestic engines.

For 10 months of 2004 The plant produced products worth 273 million tenge. Tax payments to the budget amounted to 73,6 million tenge. Investments in production development amounted to 766 million tenge.

In order to develop agricultural machinery, the issue of creating a technology park zone at the production sites of the KDZ is being considered.

Children's Day at AMX

Today, June 3, in honor of the celebration of International Children's Day, AgromashHolding JSC held an event for the children of employees.

A drawing competition was organized on the site in front of the main entrance; children independently drew a SsangYong Kyron car on the asphalt. During the competition, everyone received sweet prizes for participation. The jury, having examined all the works, decided that friendship won – all participants put their skill and soul into the drawings. All young artists received gifts.

Immediately after the end of the competition, the guys from the pedagogical team “Rovesnik” came to Agromash and held entertaining competitions with dances and songs. After playing a little, the children received an additional portion of sweets and went home in a good mood. Unfortunately, not all children were able to come to the plant with their parents, so there were only a few gifts left. Another batch of gifts was formed, and employees of the HR department went to the Kostanay orphanage for minor children, over which AgromashHolding JSC maintains patronage; currently there are 25 children from 3 to 12 years old in the distribution center. A friendly company held a similar competition for drawings on asphalt, and everyone received sweet prizes, gifts and a great mood. The children were very pleased, because guests do not come to them very often, even on holidays. Thanks to everyone who took part in organizing the holiday for children, because the smiles of children are more valuable than anything in the world.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev at JSC AgromashHolding

On May 31, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev arrived in the Kostanay region on a working trip, together with the Minister of Agriculture Asylzhan Mamytbekov and representatives of the ministries of the Republic.

Immediately upon arrival, the delegation went to Rudny to visit industrial and agricultural enterprises, and as part of the visit to Kostanay, the delegates visited the AgromashHolding JSC plant, where the Chairman of the Board Alexey Sidorenko informed about the progress of production of agricultural machinery and cars at the enterprise.

The Deputy Prime Minister was interested in the equipment assembly shops, the production volumes of SsangYong and Chance combine harvesters and cars, as well as long-term production plans. Bakytzhan Sagintayev paid much attention to the project for the reconstruction of production workshops for the installation of equipment for welding and painting car bodies. At a press conference, he noted: “We have been driving around the region since the morning, looking at industrial enterprises. I was even pleasantly surprised when we considered the visiting program itself. After all, the Kostanay region is associated with the agricultural sector.

And we visited industrial enterprises that have been operating since the Soviet period; now new projects are being implemented here, decent investments are being attracted. Now we see that the mining enterprise is not the main project for the Kostanay region - the automobile industry is developing here, different types of equipment are produced, this equipment is of good quality, the growth rate is very impressive. If all the programs that are currently working on behalf of the Head of State are implemented in this way, and if there is such a pace of development in all regions, we will definitely enter the 50 competitive countries of the world.”

AllurAuto opened the first auto center in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the AutoCity format

On May 16, the first phase of auto centers of a new format for Kazakhstan—AutoCity—began operating in the southern capital. On the territory of the “autotown”, located on the corner of Suyunbay Ave. and st. Ryskulov, there are several dealership centers representing various automobile brands, including those assembled in Kazakhstan

And buy, and repair, and leave with spare parts
The idea of AutoCity was brought to life by the group of automobile companies (GC) AllurAuto. This project can be considered a kind of gift from the company... to itself: this year AllurAuto will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its activity in the Kazakhstan market.
“Today we have a truly festive event - the opening of our new AutoCity project,” said Andrey Lavrentyev, president of AllurGroup Group, on Thursday at a press conference dedicated to the start of the center’s work. — Our strategy is for our customers to be able to purchase a car of any class at a price from our entire line in one place. Our price range starts from $10 thousand and ends with the most expensive top models.
According to Mr. Lavrentyev, all dealership centers are 3S format. That is, here you can buy not only a car, but also original spare parts, as well as receive professional service.
“Our clients will feel comfortable here.” AutoCity has a cafe and cash settlement centers of our partner TsesnaBank. In addition, during the construction of AutoCity, significant attention is paid to a large number of parking spaces. This will make it possible to organize the correct placement of cars both arriving for service and intended for a test drive, the speaker said. Press conference speakers (from left to right): Nariman Bekturov, marketing expert at Suzuki Motor Rus LLP; Andrey Lavrentyev, President of AllurGroup Group; Arseniy Sidorov, director of Rolf Import Kazakhstan LLP; Almas Minzhasarov, director of Allur Distribution LLP.
Next up is the opening of a Peugeot dealership Andrey Lavrentyev.
According to the president of AllurAuto, they opened three dealership centers - Mitsubishi, Suzuki and SsangYong produced in Kazakhstan. The second stage will be the opening of a Peugeot dealership.
— Project implementation has been extended until 2015. In mid-2015, we will build a fifth dealership center on this territory of 5,5 hectares on Ryskulova Street in Almaty,” Andrey Lavrentyev promised.
Today, AllurAuto, thanks to its constantly expanding model line, occupies about 5% of the automobile market in Kazakhstan. The presented brands allow us to reach almost all segments of the population and satisfy the demand for various car models - from the segment of affordable brands to expensive car models. The company plans to increase its presence in the market by developing dealer networks in Kazakhstan and adding new brands to existing ones.
All new Mitsubishi products will be sold at AutoCity. Arseniy Sidorov.
Dealers who have visited AutoCity are also optimistic about the possibilities of the new sales format. Director of Rolf Import Kazakhstan LLP (distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in Kazakhstan) Arseny Sidorov said that this center with a showroom of more than 750 sq. m and a service area of more than 1200 sq. m is considered one of the best in Kazakhstan at the moment.
— The center allows us to service more than 40 cars a day without any restrictions for customers. In this regard, I would like to thank the AllurAuto company for building such a beautiful dealership that meets all the standards of the Mitsubishi Corporation. In this center, AllurAuto sales will only increase, and Mitsubishi customer satisfaction will become even higher,” Mr. Sidorov expressed confidence.
He also assured that all new Mitsubishi products will be sold at this center.
— The Mitsubishi Lancer Revolution will soon go on sale here: this is the “top” of the Mitsubishi sports line, as well as an electric car that is already successfully sold in Russia. This showroom is another step towards the development of the Mitsubishi brand in Kazakhstan,” the speaker believes.
“There will be three Mitsubishi dealers in Almaty”
Arseny Sidorov also reported that Mitsubishi plans to open second dealership centers in Almaty and Astana (at the moment, AllurAuto is the only partner of Mitsubishi in Kazakhstan). Mr. Sidorov justified the need to open “second dealers” by the fact that the Kazakhstan market is very large:
— More than two million people already live in Almaty, including its suburbs.
Therefore, in the future there will be three dealers here. We approach this issue (opening new sales centers) very carefully. The opening of the second dealership will be accompanied by a tender. If AllurAuto wins the tender and becomes our only partner in the future, we will be only happy about this,” said the speaker.

As for the timing of the opening, “it won’t happen very quickly.” According to the director of Rolf Import Kazakhstan LLP, two to three years will pass from the moment the dealer company is selected until it starts selling cars in the showroom.
“The salon will allow Suzuki to reach a new level of sales” Nariman Bekturov.
Marketing expert at Suzuki Motor Rus LLP Nariman Bekturov during the press conference expressed confidence that the new showroom will become an important place that will bring Suzuki closer to the consumer.
— This salon almost fully complies with Suzuki corporate standards. Of course, it is a little smaller than Mitsubishi, and the service center provides about 35 cars per day. But for our model range, for our presence, it is quite enough. “We don’t just hope, we are confident that the salon will allow us to reach a new level of sales and allow us to achieve our goals,” said Mr. Bekturov.
He also told reporters about the company’s plans: Suzuki is going to open a free warehouse for cars in Kazakhstan.
- This is a pressing issue. A free warehouse is important for dealers; they ask us to create such a warehouse. We are happy to meet them halfway, but so far we are encountering restrictions, including administrative ones. A representative office of Suzuki opened here recently - only a year ago. We are still setting up logistics. That’s why we can’t give a time frame for opening a free warehouse,” a marketing expert explained the situation.
Over 4 months, more than 700 Ssang Yong cars were soldAlmas Minzhasarov.
Director of Allur Distribution LLP Almas Minzhasarov began with numbers. He said that the SsangYong car company sold more than 700 cars in the first four months of this year.
— 45% of all sales come from the leading region - Almaty. Therefore, the construction of a new center will satisfy the desires of buyers, Mr. Minzhasarov hopes.
…It’s gratifying that AllurAuto sees Kazakhstan not only as a place of high car sales, but also as a country that produces them. Thus, at the Kostanay plant AgromashHolding, which belongs to the AllurGroup Group, affordable ZAZ cars, Iveco commercial vehicles, and Korean SsangYong cars are assembled. As AllurGroup promises, the number of cars coming off production lines will increase.
