| According to official data, against the background of global negative trends in the first half of 2020, the production of goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan increased by 4,1%. The main drivers were construction (+ 11,2 %) and manufacturing industry (+ 4,8 %), the growth of which is largely driven by pharmaceuticals (24%) and automotive industry (46%). Domestic automakers have not only increased production, but also continue to develop foreign markets. Only "SaryarkaAvtoProm" from Kostanay (currently the only exporter of passenger cars), sent in June 816 car brands Hyundai, Chevrolet и JAC to the countries of the EAEU and neighboring countries for the total amount 5,6 billion tenge. This is every third car produced at the enterprise or every sixth in Kazakhstan. According to analysts Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), for six months of 2020, Kazakhstan produced 32 701 units vehicles of all types, which 58,6% more than in January-June 2019, when it was released 20 608 units of equipment.

For six months, domestic plants "SaryarkaAvtoProm" was produced 16 923 units of cars, trucks and buses, the increase was 82%.
