Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the imposed quarantine in cities and regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dealers were forced to suspend or limit their activities. It was only at the end of April that activity began to appear after the country launched initial online registration for official dealers. However, most of the new cars sold in April will be registered in May-June. “April is truly a significant month for the entire auto business of the country, a time of new opportunities and discoveries. The situation has stimulated business and the government to actively implement online trading. It is now possible to register vehicles through egov.kz, it is very important that ministries understand the importance of automating their services", - comments Anar MAKASHEVA, Vice President of ACAB. In April, the leader in the standings of brands Toyota (224 units), Lada with the result 172 units on the second line. UAZ (127 units) closes the top three. The fourth place is taken Renault - 80 sold cars. For dealers Hyundai managed to implement 77 units, the same number of commercial vehicles sold GAZ. Chevrolet - 57 auto.
